COURSE DESCRIPTION

Our Industrial Design course will impart knowledge and enable a student to create and execute design solutions from form, function, usability, physical ergonomics, marketing, brand development, and sales perspective. The course starts with art and design and progresses with process of design applied to create various products keeping in mind the manufacturing and mass production possibilities. They look at case study examples in design and innovation. Most of the industrial designs and consumer products you see around are the result of design process. An individual or a team can achieve the design solution for any new product. Product design can be influenced by many factors as varied as materials, production processes, business strategy and prevailing social, commercial or aesthetic attitudes. This course is a comprehensive course student will understand the role of an industrial designer; innovative product design, opportunity to explore various manufacturing process.
